The phase covered 515,000 square meters with 25,000 booths and more than 10,000 exhibitors - over 3,600 of them recognized as specialized, sophisticated or single-champion manufacturers - across three sectors and 14 exhibit sections: household goods, gifts and decorations, and building materials and furniture. Some 2.376 million products were on display.
Cheerhope's range spans kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and study organization at home, as well as desktop and workstation storage in the office. Most of the team's time went to the storage and organization categories within the household goods sector, with one question in mind: how should storage be redefined for the next cycle?

Green materials are the baseline, not the selling point
Close to 640,000 green and low-carbon products were exhibited, 26.9% of the total. Biodegradable items made from sugarcane bagasse and bamboo pulp are now mainstream in kitchenware, while recycled plastics, wood-plastic composites and bamboo alternatives appear on nearly every home-goods booth. A photovoltaic stone-panel façade material, fired at medium temperature from construction waste, drew crowds in the building materials section. As one Chilean buyer put it: customers prefer environmentally friendly products.
For Cheerhope, this confirms a materials decision already in motion: recycled and biodegradable materials will cover the full new-product range before spring 2027.
Buyers want a system, not a box
Booths are no longer arranged by product category but by lived-in scenario. In the prefabricated housing and garden facilities section, a model home with a self-developed electric retractable structure switched between a closed interior and an open courtyard in 40 seconds, drawing a constant crowd. Around 36.5% of exhibitors at this edition have moved to a "product + service" model - from selling items to delivering complete, installable solutions.
"There is a one-stop solution here. China's manufacturing standard is very high, and the integrated solution is highly competitive," said a Canadian buyer attending the fair for the second time.
Applied to storage, the logic is the same. Users are not short of a container; they want one coherent logic that works across the kitchen counter, the bathroom cabinet, the desk and the workstation. Cheerhope's roadmap now centers on a unified module and standardized interfaces - one storage unit should move freely between kitchen, bath, study and office instead of being repurchased room by room.

Design and structural detail decide the margin
A smart bathtub collected multiple orders on opening day, with leads from Northern Europe, North America and South America. Compression sofas, functional pillows, acoustic doors and ingredient-recognizing smart grills formed the second thread of this phase. What they share is not feature stacking but one pain point solved completely: silent, tool-free, foldable, space-saving.
That is exactly Cheerhope's direction for storage: no-drill installation, silent open-and-close, fold-flat design, visible categorization and modular stacking. Once basic function is universally satisfied, what decides the purchase is the detail you only notice in daily use.
What's next
During the visit, Cheerhope held in-depth talks with more than 30 suppliers across storage boxes, organizers, drawer dividers, desktop storage and bathroom racks, with 8 now moving into sampling. The first products developed from these observations are expected to launch on cheerhope.com and overseas marketplaces in Q1 2027, led by the foldable modular storage series.
"People never buy a container. They buy the certainty that everything has a place. What impressed us most at the Canton Fair is that China's supply chain can now deliver that certainty as a complete system," said a Cheerhope spokesperson.
The Canton Fair marks its 70th anniversary this year. For the home and storage industry, the message of this "Quality Living" phase is clear: competition is shifting from price to a combined test of materials, structure and scenario delivery. Cheerhope will keep turning trends verified on the show floor into products customers can actually buy - and buy again.
